Impact of Financial Literacy Levels among Sri Lankan Investors on Investment Choices

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the level financial literacy among Sri Lankan investors and its impact on investment choices. Design/methodology/approach: population consisted individual Lanka. Accordingly, a sample 352 responses were obtained through survey which was conducted using structured self-administered questionnaire. independent variable research with dependent being choice. Multinomial logistic regression used test hypothesis. Findings: results revealed that majority in Lanka are having low objective subjective literacy. Further, has statistically significant current future choice different products as main source investment. Originality: Financial assessed by mean value score, not been commonly context. This further contributed local body literature analyzing investors’ secondary holdings seven their preference towards these products.
